Designed the logo for the open source project avendish, a declarative polyamorous cross-system intermedia objects. The idea behind it was to represent the “polyamorous” aspect with the C++ at the center of it. The logo then became somewhat a mix between the polyamorous logo and the C++ logo.

Concept

This was the first draft to see if the idea pleased the project author.

Logo-ify

Made a logo version of the approved concept.

Improvement

Improved the previous version with a more modern feeling.

Color variation

Tried different color variation before landing on the CGA color palette.

Simplifying

Removed the infinity part on the sides.

Final touch

Cleaned up the svg and improved the color contrast.
